Located in the picturesque Cornwall village of Treyarnon this YHA hostel is just 164 feet from the sandy beach. This beautiful country house-style building offers affordable accommodations and a restaurant. The YHA Treyarnon Bay offers guests use of shared self-catering kitchen facilities. The open-plan dining room and bar has sea views and serves traditional English meals and local ales and ciders. The rooms at the YHA contain a mix of both double beds and bunk beds. The guest lounge has comfortable sofas a log fire and Wi-Fi access is available in public areas of the property. The café offers light snacks throughout the day and the garden terrace overlooks Treyarnon Bay. There are plenty of coastal walking paths nearby and the Trevose Golf Club is a 10-minute walk away. Guests can take surfing lessons at Harlyn Surf School which is a 5-minute drive from YHA Treyarnon Bay.

All really good. Just don’t...

Liked: Location is amazing. Staff were all fabulous. Nice atmosphere. Comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Curtains didn’t cover the window. I had chilli con carne which was TINY. Maybe 3 mouthfuls of chilli. £10 and it obviously cost pence. And everyone, staff and guests who had stayed before seemed to know! Should be taken off the menu.

A great youth hostel

Liked: It's in a great location and has everything you need for a comfortable family stay.
Disliked: The carpark surface and access was a bit rough on the car.

Impressed with this YHA -...

Liked: Great comfortable room, upgraded to accessible room for 5 to fit our family of 4. Hot shower and decent breakfast.
Disliked: Building work going on but understood it needs to happen!

Superb

Liked: It was Good .. my kids enjoy as 2mins walk in the beach , its just the signal was bad. no signal at all need to go near or inside there cafe to get wifi .. hoping next time they got wifi router near tent and extra port to charge phone .. but overall it was amazing stay .. and we would love to book again.

Everything was perfect except for...

Liked: Nice staff, good facilities, and clean, tasty food.
Disliked: The soundproofing was inadequate, which was disruptive and led to a poor night's sleep. I could clearly hear footsteps from the upper floor through the ceiling whenever someone was moving.
