Liked: The staff was very pleasant from the moment we arrived to our breakfast and check out. I really like Ravenstor and havr been a few times before. I like the easy access to Mondal Trail and the walks arounf it. We had a fab time

Liked: Lovely Continental breakfast with everything necessary to start the day.
Disliked: It is lovely seeing families in a hostel, provided children are well managed by parents. Some children were not at all conscious of being considerate of others using the hostel.They were rowdy, shouting down corridors and banging doors in the evenings.This somewhat spoilt the peaceful setting.

Cheap and cheerful family getaway...

Liked: The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Tip - don't get there at the end of breakfast service if you want your food to be hot. We enjoyed the games room and the helpful maps showing walking routes around the site. It was handy to have catering facilities.
Disliked: The room was a bit drafty (but the gorgeous view made up for it) and the showers temperature was a bit hit and miss.

Liked: Nice location, super friendly staff, got upgraded to a huge room all to myself. Large number of loos and showers
Disliked: Facilities in lounge were dirty looking furniture, didn't want to sit on sofas or chairs. Kitchen area a bit tired, but plenty of storage space. No freezer
