Liked: The staff are so lovely and helpful. I had a made a mistake of booking a weekend late. With just just one easy phone call they were able to assist me in 10 minutes. The kitchen area is so spacious and stocked with all the necessities. Bathrooms are clean some with a hairdryer. They have a lovely board which states the weather and activities available in Nelson throughout the week of your stay. If you you’re a walker it’s not very far from spots like Centre of NZ or the waterfront. Lovely calm sounds played in the eating area.Friendliest staff !

Best hostel in Nelson

Liked: I liked the dedicated female dorm. I.liked the big kitchen and the big longe area that can be divided into two rooms.
Disliked: There is only a single shower for the female dorm.

I never thought backpacking was...

Liked: The staff were exceptional even leaving a Reservation Note with my name n date of arrival on the bed.
Disliked: There was nothing i didnt like
