In leafy Rotherhithe this YHA hostel is just a few yards from the banks of the Thames 10 minutes' walk from Rotherhithe Overground station or 15 minutes from Canada Water Tube Station. It has an on-site café/bar and restaurant and 24-hour reception. Most of the YHA London Thameside's rooms contain bunk beds and all have bathroom facilities. Bed linen is provided. The O2 Arena is a 5-minute Tube journey while the stylish bars and restaurants of Canary Wharf are 1 Tube stop away. The South Bank with London Bridge and theaters is 2 miles away along the river. Pastries savory snacks and drinks are on offer at Quays café/bar and the Traders Gallery restaurant has a varied menu. There is also a TV lounge and luggage storage available for a surcharge

Nice quiet location

Liked: Nice and clean, decent size dorm room. There is also a small kitchen and a onsite cafe. Bus stop straight out front of hostel.
Disliked: The bathrooms are bit old and showers seemed to block within seconds.

Comfortable, friendly and convenient stay

Liked: Good location. Good facilities and comfortable.
Disliked: Wifi didn’t work in our room. The common kitchen needs some ventilation, but nothing major.
