This YHA Hostel is located in the 10000-acre Lee Valley Park 3 miles from Waltham Abbey. Next door to an activity center it offers accommodations in lakeside cabins. In this beautiful countryside location guests can try sailing kayaking or canoeing on the lake. Caving and rock climbing are also available and there are fantastic walking and cycling routes surrounding this YHA hostel. Guests can relax at the bar or in the comfortable TV lounge. Wi-Fi access is available in public areas. The majority of rooms contain bunk beds London's Liverpool Street can be reached in just 25 minutes from Cheshunt Railway Station which is just a 5-minute walk away. We booked a quad room....

Liked: The grounds were beautiful and
Disliked: The front door slamming when others arrived at night.

Liked: Great location if your walking through River Lea.
Disliked: The only real issues were the loud squeeky bed, which on reading the reviews has been mentioned before. Also because of the design of the building noise travelled and echoed . This being a problem due to banging of doors and conversations which sounded as if they were in your room with you .
