We had a very good...
Liked: The reception staff were very welcoming any time of the day. Please keep it up. The whole place is so clean. Only thing was that our double lower bunk was squeaky which disturbed others, Other wise we will be back again and again
Disliked: Maybe the pots and pans. They need upgrading. Was very sticky and difficult to fry a decent egg. Some pots don't have lids.

Great facility
Liked: Very modern. Use of key cards. Water station. Large self catering and spacious bar lounge. Good breakfast. On river in centre.
Disliked: Snoring in dormitory.

Liked: Stayed for the night with my children as a place to get our heads down while hiking and exploring, place was exceptionally clean, rooms were lovely, staff were excellent and food was great. Can't fault this place at all!

One of the best places...
Liked: Check-in wasn't until a few hours after we arrived in Keswick but they were great and let us leave our bags so we could go and get lunch. We had a family room which was great - all the kids had their own beds and loved the bunk beds. The room was clean and while we didn't have an ensuite, the bathroom and toilets weren't far away at all. It was great having the cafe downstairs (complete with small interesting things such as games and walk information) for an easy and really well-priced breakfast. I also liked that you could pay for towel hire.There's a stream right next to the YHA and a playground so really useful when you've got kids who need to burn off energy. And if you stay there over a weekend, there's a kids parkrun which takes place every Sunday at 9am.
Disliked: We were right by the entrance to the floor so there was some noise, but really not as much as I was expecting. My 8 year old said there was too many stairs (we were on the top floor) but I think that's him being lazy... 😂
