Liked: Just spent a solo weekend away at YHA Ilam Hall. My first time in a UK YHA. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the beautiful Peak District. I had the best time, everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The location is of course perfect for the walks of Dovedale and Thorpe Cloud. Was very muddy across the public footpath walk to the stepping stones but just what I needed to relax and unwind. I recommend the Tissington Trail, sausage roll from The Old Dog pub, beautiful Bakewell and Sir Philip bitter. Already planning my next stay so I can do the Monsal Trail. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
