Liked: Great location, friendly staff and value for money. The rooms were adequate although it was a very warm night and just a small window for ventilation (not a complaint just a fact)
Disliked: There’s both to dislike given the location and value for money

Liked: Beautiful place! Gorgeous building and grounds, good little shop and lots of living rooms and communal areas that are classy and comfy.
Disliked: Worst night sleep of my life. The problem is there's no staff after 10pm. There was a party outside. The corridors are noisy, the doors are noisy, the locks are noisy and the noise from the room above was unbearable until 3.30am. the flooring is basic office tiles and sound travels through the thin, old ceilings. It's an old building but the choice of flooring would make a massive difference. Was like being under a bowling alley! It was that loud. Bed duvet waay too hot for the temperature of the room. No curtains or blinds on the window and it's light at 4.30am in June. I got 2 hours sleep and had to work the next day looking after scouts. I was a zombie. Beautiful place but needs staff on site overnight to remind party goers to keep it down.
