not somewhere I would recomended...
Liked: Location was ideal,
Disliked: The check in was not conducted in a professional way, The accommodation was very basic for the price. The condition of the grounds were very muddy and i realize you cannot control the weather and we have had a lot of rain. Getting into the van late at night is very difficult especially when you forget your glasses and find it extremely difficult to read the numbers on the padlock.

Exceptional
Liked: Staff all very friendly. Toilet/showers/wash room all clean and tidy. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Impressed with the whole experience as it was my first time in youth hostel setting.

Better to stay in summer
Liked: The staff
Disliked: Appearance upon arrival was awful ,fire too small, can only buy 1 bag of fire lighting equipment per night at £10 per bag and wasn’t enough because fire would not stay lit, mixed shower block, not enough outside light, ground needs tarmac and drainage and plants, needs tidying up

Highly recommend.
Liked: Aimee and Beth were my hosts for the night and the morning of my one night stay with my daughter. They was so helpful and very friendly people, can't a single fault with my stay as we didn't want to leave but we will surely be returning for a longer trip. We stayed in one of the tents with a log burner and beds, the beds were super comfy and the fire kept the tent warm until we awoke which was a pretty fresh morning but these are the joys of camping. If your an outdoors person who loves a few home comforts then this is the ideal place for a nice camping trip.
Disliked: Nothing.

Sleep in the wild and...
Liked: Absolutely freezing... accommodation is an insulated tent top on a wooden base. Bring LOTS of spare blankets as it gets cold at night. Not much space for luggage inside. Power to charge phone and basic needs. Great BBQ facilities outside. Bring a torch as wash hut is a 3 mins walk and can't get into the secure padlock without a decent head torch/ light. Clean washrooms. Perfectly decent, basic breakfast/ coffee provided at extra cost. Plenty of parking, a 5 minute walk on the path to the Eden Project. Would thoroughly recommend.
Disliked: freezing cold, not enough blankets (but it was end november in a storm) - cosy to wake up to hear the rain on the tent and the outside wildlife. In the wild, romantic I suppose but I had to work the next day so not much sleep.

Lovely hut to stay in...
Liked: Stayed in the hut and it was lovely, very unique. The main kitchen/ dining room for everyone is also very useful to prepare your own food with paid breakfast and food offered all day. Well located near Eden project and great space which would be great in summer
Disliked: Stayed in October, so was cold without much heating options
