Liked: Beautiful building in a beautiful location with friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Only one complaint.Couldn?t turn the heating down and it was very hot

Modern, clean and comfortable

Liked: Modern and clean. Better than I expected for a hostel. Warm and comfortable, perfect after a day mountain biking in the peaks.There was also a bike store.
Disliked: Shower/plumbing was making some annoying noises!

Staying at the YHA Castleton...

Liked: Oh everything was just perfect! Even before I came and spoke to a young lady on the phone she was so kind and friendly. ALL the staff were just lovely! They all deserve a bonus! ?
Disliked: Nothing, the only thing we did wonder was why the lighting and heating was on all night in the bathroom? Seemed a bit of a waste of electricity.

A lovely night away with...

Liked: Loved the building, sitting room and staff were very friendly. Bonus to have our own allocated toilet and shower. Breakfast was well organised and tasty. Staff were very eager to please. The eating room was useful for our picnic tea!
Disliked: There was one light/ socket tower that didn't work. The tap on the sink leaked from the top. One of the heaters didn't work. The windows were quite mouldy and some didn't shut tightly. However, we appreciate that it is an old building!

Disliked: Nothing !!!!

Nice walkers place

Liked: Great location, short walk into the village, with 6 pubs that are all worth at least one visit. You can walk straight out the back gate to walks in the fields.
