Great breakfast

Liked: Everything was good for our family no issues. Had a fun nights stay with 3 children.
Disliked: Couple of plug sockets didn't work in family room.

Really pleased overall.

Liked: Staff were for the most part super friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. Value was extremely good. Appreciated secure bike storage.
Disliked: Room was very very hot even with windows open, and when you opened the windows at night, bugs came in a lot because there were no screens. Beds could have been more comfortable. Toilet paper dispensers were the kind where it's easy to lose the toilet paper entirely so one night of my stay one of the toilets was completely out of commission.

Great option on budget

Liked: Loved the location and the facilities. The check-in and check-out was smooth, the staff was friendly as well.
Disliked: The only issue I faced was the smell in the room due to heat. I asked the staff if something could be done but sadly no resolution. There wasn't proper ventilation that's why the smell persisted.

Good

Liked: Very nice hostel in a beautiful and quiet location (however a good 15 - 20 minutes walk to the city center). Nice clean rooms and bathrooms and comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Also a very nice garden area with picnic tables.
Disliked: Unfortunately the reception is closed/not staffed from 1 to 4 pm, meaning that you can't pick up stored luggage within those hours (or check in then either). This was really frustrating for me as I had a train to catch at 4.20 pm and would have needed to get my bags before that, when the reception was closed. This meant I had to pay 8 pounds to store my bag at a shop in the city center as the train station doesn't offer lockers for bags. A bit frustrating as normally this doesn't seem to be an issue at other hostels
