Good value for money I...

Liked: The hostel was affordable and centrally located. The breakfast buffet was good value at £9-£10, and the bar was also nice. The staff were friendly, and the lobby was quite pleasant. They had a good drinks menu, and the beds were nice and firm
Disliked: It's a hostel, so it's a bit grimy, but for Bristol, it's good value. My bunk bed light made a weird humming noise when plugged in. The showers didn't have a hook to hang clothes. I would appreciate a curtain around the bed for privacy.

Liked: Good location. Nice cafe area. Comfy enough bed.
Disliked: Noise from nearby clubs until 2am. (stayed on a Friday night). Could do with side curtains on beds like in London YHA. Others in the small room had lights on until late.

You can’t go wrong with...

Liked: We have stayed at YHA hostels in different cities several times. Never had any issues. The location of the hostel is great, the view just outside is beautiful especially at night. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were just there for a night so couldn’t try to food.

Great value for money that...

Liked: Location great. Cafe and vibe nice. It met my basic needs.
Disliked: Green emergency light very bright at night. Disturbed my sleep. Hum from bedside light also disturbed sleep. Lots of low effort things can improve overall quality and cleanliness. E.g proper locks on bathroom doors, carpets deep cleaned. Paint trim. Not straight toilet seats.
