Breakfast exceptional . Very clean...

Liked: Very clean .New fluffy towels . Attention to detail was really good
Disliked: Arrival … had to wait to get in as door was locked and no one on reception

Liked: Friendly welcome, close to town.

A nice, well run establishment...

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms as described and early notification regarding access etc well received. Bedroom clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and a good breakfast.
Disliked: Although functional, en suite shower just about adequate (possibly the smallest corner show cubicle I have encountered in a hotel). Shower header rail loose as was shower head and control fittings loose in tiles. Worked fine, just a bit ‘neat’ all round.

Good stay

Liked: Lovely little single room. Great location.
Disliked: It could do with having some background music in the breakfast room because guests seemed reluctant to talk being sat so close to each other!

Good value for money stay

Liked: Comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Disliked: Quirky room in the attic, lots of stairs.

Exceptional

Amazing place centrally located! Thumbs...

Liked: The staff were exceptionally kind. A man moved his car to give us space for parking. And they allowed me to check out a little later than the expected time.The cleaners literally deserve a “Best cleaners’ award!” If we ever go back to Devon that’s the place we will be going back to
Disliked: Nothing

Super host.

Liked: The owner was very friendly and accommodating particularly about providing an early breakfast because of our need to catch an early ferry to Lundy.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike. We were lucky to find an empty parking space on the road just 30 seconds away.
