Filthy

Disliked: The room was filthy! It had not been cleaned. There were hairs in drawers, a greasy bag of food left on a shelf, and the shelves in the kitchen were full of crumbs. It was well appointed but in a poor condition. Also, despite booking a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults, they REFUSED (!!) to issue more than 2 plastic card style keys and further told us there was a penalty of $20 for each one if they got lost. Eventually, they conceded to giving 1 more (and it was offered as if we were lucky to get it!!), so basically not all of us were permitted a key! Even though you also needed a key to enter the building! The reception team agreed it was dirty but no alternative was offered and we asked for our pre payment to be refunded but they have refused. There was no manager to be seen and we were told "what do you expect from a budget hotel" which is ironic as they certainly know how to charge non budget prices. Their financial moral compass is clearly upside down. Stay here at your own peril!! And take a vacuum cleaner, a duster, some bin bags and make sure you all go out together and come back together as you'll be sharing keys!!

Disliked: Stench in the room. Response to our concerns from the hotel.Very dated and broken furniture and stained couches and carpet. Stains in bath. Broken elevator. Dirty and unwashed windows and significant accumulation of dirt, glass etc on balcony.It was a significant expense (over $700 a night) for a terrible stay. We were disappointed and disheartened not only by the room but by the response by management to our concerns

Perfect place and location.

Liked: The suite is very spacious and clean. The kitchen and laundry facilities in the apartment are a great help with a long stay. It is very central to Darling Harbour and close to public transport. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. We had a great stay!
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: A bit of maintenance was needed - cupboard kitchen door would not close - annoying. All else was OK
