Liked: Decent price and location
Disliked: Old buolding. Heating was so old that we couldnt use it and barely worked anyway, the bathtub was too small to fit in. They made us pay to hold our bags too.

Comfortable, affordable, quiet, clean. 10/10
Liked: The owners were absolutely amazing! So accomodating and friendly. We always enjoy our stay here! 10/10. Bed very comfortable, big rooms, beautiful bathrooms. Rooms surprisingly quiet in the middle of the city. Had a great sleep. Tv in room is a bonus!

It was a pleasant stay...
Liked: The great location right in the Melbourne CBD.
Disliked: I didn't have my bedside table ,they said that they are waiting for a replacement.

Liked: Closer to Southern Cross station and all the good restaurants and shopping centres

It’s okay, would suit people...
Liked: Location is 7 minutes walk from Flinders St/Southern Cross Station, Ease of access (24/7 ability to get in and out of hotel plus late check in)Shower pressure was goodComfortable bed and fairly good sized room Small fridge was good
Disliked: There was NO MENTION of a deposit online upon arrival and we got in at 10pm to find out we needed to give them $100 via card to hold until the end of our stay just incase we destroyed the place. If you wanted to do this hold via cash, it was a $200 hold…Just for us to get into the room and the towel hook rack was falling out of the wall in bathroom, we honestly thought it was a set up and that we were going to get charged for a pre existing issue. Thank goodness we didn’t but it automatically made us feel very skeptical since there is no mention of this hold online.Shower temp was inconsistent, sometimes wouldn’t get hot.Room temp barely responds to the Aircon/heater settings so it got hot in room very often, no bathroom fan either so that didn’t help.Ammenities such as carpet and bathroom paint need replacing, seem permanently dusty or old marks of mould left on ceiling of bathroom (probably because there was no bathroom fan)The 5 star reviews arent true. They have a message on their key card that you can get a free late checkout time of 1pm if you give them a 5 star review so don’t be fooled have included a picture below. All the staff (except the one guy on our check in) gave us weird looks on the way in, they’re dressed in suits behind the counter to look professional yet I don’t even think they know what they’re doing there hahaOverall just seems a bit dodge, if I knew this is what I was getting I wouldn’t be mad, but all of it online is upsold and white lied to look like a 4 star hotel when it’s really not.
