Disliked: Bedroom dirty, construction happening while staying in the hotel and lots of dust, the wardrobe was not working

Disliked: Bath was smaller then expected and quite small.Upon returning to the rooms after a late night out I wanted a nice warm shower to relax before getting into bed. I turned the shower on to warm up and got in to a very lukewarm shower, proceeded to wait for 15min and the water got no warmer, it was quite disappointing. And all though the bathtub was clean the stains were off putting.

Dirty, dishonest staff, disappointing accommodation

Disliked: This hotel was dirty, dishonest and disappointing. Be warned.Fridges were missing freezer doors, holes in the walls, dirt in the halls, dirty walls, looks nothing like the pictures. Staff were dishonest on several occasions (male staff, the women were fine)One telling me the issue with the hot water was fixed when it wasn't and another telling me that freezers in fridges didn't have doors (they do), and I was bitten by spiders while I slept. I have tried to raise issues at the time with the manager but their emails response was very rude.There was no hot water to the rooms for several days, they claim it wasn't their fault but made no plans to provide showers for guests somewhere else like one of the many local gyms or places like the Hub nearby that had facilities . As much I you try to be understanding, having a male staff member tell me to 'run the tap longer to wait for the hot water ' was inappropriate considering the whole hotel was out of hot water.They say its 4 star but they have NO accredited star rating! I confirmed this with the Victorian authorities. Based on what I saw, I would guess they are a 1.5-2 star. Booking. com also is a 'partner' with them so I no longer trust booking.com as they want to be linked with people like this. I will be checking for accredited star ratings in the future

Great service by very accommodating...

Liked: The staff. They were absolutely lovely. The room was quiet and very comfortable.
Disliked: Lack of hot water. I had only lukewarm water up until the second night when I had water hot enough to shower properly at 3:00am in the morning.

Exceptional

Disappointed- no hot water

Liked: Basic room, no frills. No hot water for my stay. I requested a credit or discount with no warm shower on offer. The staff declined.UPDATE 1 month later STILL NO REFUND $50 - never happened. Liars & Frauds!
