Ye Olde Talbot Hotel by Greene King Inns

Room was lovely and clean. Walked into it warm and cosy. Excellent shower. Ideal location. Lovely friendly staff.

Liked: Large space.
Disliked: Noisy on ground level.

Liked: Breakfast was super, sufficient reason to go back :) Very nice "very old" house.Location was good, just opposite the cathedral and walking distance from the train station.
Disliked: My train was cancelled (usual shit in Britain) and when I arrived with the next train there was nobody at reception. I found somebody in the kitchen of the restaurant who let me leave my luggage somewhere until the evening. Room was what you expect in a 500 years building :)

Liked: Excellent hotel and ideally situated for my visits to the Cathedral and former school, King's. Remembered it from all those earlier years! Nice pub too.
Disliked: No recollection here.

Liked: Bed was comfortable staff were helpful and polite
Disliked: Place and the room was dated. Not really a hotel more a bed and breakfast. You could not arrange to order food and put it on the room. No area for a group to sit and talk as it was mainly a pub. Not good for the group of 15 of us.
