If I was to go...

Liked: Very interesting history
Disliked: The noise from outside of the bedroom , which was on the front of the building. Unbelievably noisy that went on until past two in the morning, windows that couldn’t be shut properly.

It served the purpose for...

Liked: Dog friendly. Nice food. Good range of beers.
Disliked: Small room. Expensive for breakfast not included. Noise - we did expect this but nonetheless, sleep was impossible.

Very good

Liked: The hotel location is excellent, the room was clean and very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs restaurant was nice and handy with a variety of choice.
Disliked: There was extremely loud continuous music being played downstairs in the dining room/bar area on Saturday night, which continued non stop until around 1:30am, it was disturbing and prevented rest until it ended.

Liked: We like this place have been three times now great place if you want a dog friendly pub and stay
Disliked: Stayed over night had dogs with us had no problems even when we went for something to eat carnt fault
