Relaxing

Liked: Lots of nature surrounding the property.
Disliked: Room was very comfortable and lovely.Bathroom was perfect but could do with renovation to live up to the standard of the rest of the room. Would also be nice if the hotel had some live entertainment.

Lovely quiet room ,thoroughly enjoyed...

Liked: Breakfast was great ,catered for gluten free . Maybe some more gluten free spreads for toast .separate toaster was great for gluten free . Rooms were lovely. Very clean .
Disliked: Appropriate amount of cups in room for amount of people we had .Had to ask for more towels and more face washers to accommodate 3 however it was rectified quickly

Overpriced and inefficient service.

Liked: Room was a good size. Overall building is in good condition. Breakfast was pretty good.
Disliked: Underwhelming service and standards. This place is waaaay overpriced for the level of service you receive and it is an easy fix if they would improve their service standards. The staff do not go out of their way to assist you. Front desk took over 20 mins to respond to basic requests. The reception staff couldn't even make a booking for a dinner reservation for us. While it says that concierge services are provided they were not any. I also don't understand why they only provide ONE small face towel between two people instead of the usual 2 hand towels and 2 face towels. It is very stingy for a hotel that charges over $400/night. We had made a reservation to my husbands 40th birthday at belle restaurant and they didn't have a record of our reservation. Pretty poor form considering I had booked weeks ahead. During breakfast, it took the staff too much time to replace empty food trays/bowls. Totally inefficient. I don't think all of this would bother me if this was a 2 star that charged low prices. It's the fact that the charges are that of a 5 star yet the service is a total let down.

Peaceful and Relaxing Setting

Liked: Convenient location to Yarra Valley. Spacious venue and the restaurant and room service were excellent.
Disliked: USB plug in a powerpoint would have been convenient.
