Yardley Manor Hotel

Great value rooms and wonderful...

Liked: This is a lovely hotel with great rooms at a great price for the location. A lively bar scene and all facilities great. The manager was very friendly and accommodating and even gave us a refund when our plans went awry and we couldn’t stay one night, even though they were not obliged to.
Disliked: Nothing

Disappointing

Disliked: More basic than expected junk dumped in corners kids running the bar wouldn't recommend. Only + room was clean room service every other day . a one off.

Exceptional

Liked: The moment we arrived was welcome by Steve the owner who offered us a upgrade to a seaview room which was unexpected. The room was very clean and spacious and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again if we came back to Torquay.
Disliked: There is nothing we didn't like.

Liked: It was nice & clean & bed comfy
Disliked: Room very small kettle had be put on floor as lead didn’t reach otherwise, window hard to open & not keen on music going on all over weekend not my thing & it was bit loud. Also price didn’t include breakfast & cost was £12 which I felt not value money in such small compact room, I stayed much better hotels less that included breakfast. Also not keen Torquay lots sleeping rough begging people noisy bars apart from harbour area & walking to Cockington which lovely wouldn’t choose stay Torquay again.

Disliked: My mum and dad struggled with the steps upstairs to our rooms

An enjoyable weekend

Liked: Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, varied, plentiful. Owner was friendly. Entertainment in the hotel if you were interested.
Disliked: The swimming pool in the grounds did not look very inviting (weather wasn't the best for us anyway but don't think I would have gone in if it had been hot).
