Torquay Midweek Break Hotel Review

Liked: The room had a good view over the marina and was very comfortable. The staff were very good at breakfast, and the breakfast choices and food were very good. The manager took our cases up to the room on arrival and brought them to reception when we were leaving. The hotel also provided the skimmed milk I requested, which is a dietary requirement.
Disliked: The hotel did not have a lift and the parking outside the hotel was difficult to manoeuvre. Although tea and coffee facilities, and a coffee machine, were advertised, we were told they were not avaliable and items could be purchased from the hotel, but only after the booking cancellation date had passed. I was also unhappy that VAT was added to my booking price, and the manager's explanation for this was confusing.

Great location and value for...

Liked: Great location for Harbour and town centre. Breakfast was plentiful and great quality. The double deluxe room was good with ensure and seating to watch TV. All round good value for the room. Breakfast was served in the bar area but we'll presented and nicely served.
Disliked: The outside and tge common areas were a bit tired and cluttered but that didn't detract from the overall stay.cwe would use the hotel again

Perfectly adequate for a 3...

Liked: Room good value, Staff friendly & polite, room was clean & a comfortable size for a Solo Traveller. Very good location - close to Harbour, shops & restaurants, Key Card Door operation, rather than a Key.
Disliked: Mixer Shower water pressure in the Small Double room wasn't very good. No Coffee/Tea/Milk provided in the room - guests have to supply their own

Disliked: The pictures you show are not true the hotel is in poor condition and it is in a side street up a hill and needs tidying up

Liked: It was great went for my 60th with family and friends 11 of us in total location OK slight hill but central to everything car parking great on site pool on site pub on site Steve and his team friendly and accommodating definitely go again
Disliked: It went to quick

Perfect location and parking

Liked: The owner was very nice and helpfull phoned me to say my room was ready . The room was a good size and clean . The bathroom was a clean also . My room had a fridge which is a good bonus and view of the sea which was nice to see in the morning . The hotel also had a good size car park just for guests . Downstairs the hotel had a bar which served a good selection of drinks and played live music early afternoon/evening ( but did not hear any from my room ) . The location was excellent only a few minutes walk to the harbour & town little longer walking back as its up hill lol .
Disliked: nothing
