Wonderful place to relax, unwind,...

Liked: My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at The Yankee. We absolutely loved every aspect of this wonderful hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell that cleanliness was a priority. The room was large and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast, which was included, was very good and there was even the ability to have a freshly made omelet. My husband and I love a good hot tub and pool. The pool was the perfect temperature as was the hot tub. Many times you go away only to find a cold pool and a lukewarm hot tub. Not here. They were both perfect. Location is good, service is good, and the facilities are wonderful. We will be back and when we are in the area will not stay anywhere else.
Disliked: Not a darn thing.

Disliked: Little things…draws trouble closing door handles need tightening…and updating.

Liked: Location, access to restaurants and breakfast choices.
Disliked: Need to have more direction about the heating system before you go to the room. The system looks like an airconditionner and there are old baseboard heaters on the wall. It was deceiving. Easy to use once you knew what to do. More of a concern was the mixing valve in the shower. Once again it was a mystery. As I shared these two concerns at the desk, a woman from another room agreed with my observations.

Liked: breakfast was good. waffles, cereal eggs, muffins,,etc, good choices, My Room was spotless. I was a little cold one day, and I called to ask for an extra blanket, they brought me a blanket within 10 minutes
Disliked: There was not one thing I didn't like.
