Very clean; very nice.
Liked: I stayed at the Wyndham on two different occasions in one week. If I hadn't enjoyed the first stay, I would not have gone for the second! The hotel is beautiful, easy to get around in, and the Bridges restaurant is amazing - great menu, delicious food. The hotel and restaurant staff were both welcoming and professional. We took a shuttle to Carnegie for a concert - the drive was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Liked: The bed was very comfy, the room was nice, and the staff was very helpful.
Disliked: I ordered a room that said it had parking and breakfast included, yet I had to pay extra for parking and did not receive any breakfast. I even paid extra for both. I guess going for these special features on Booking.com have no impact on whether you get them at the hotel itself, so it's better to get them while checking in.

Liked: Very comfy beds, very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Loved the shower.
Disliked: Temperature in the gym needed to be much cooler. It was 71 degrees! I did mention it to the staff but no one came in to adjust. Did not use after that. Did not like the brand of black tea in the restaurant. Staff in restaurant very friendly and helpful.

Liked: We went down to Pittsburgh so my kids could see the dinosaurs at the Carnegie museum of natural history and art. The Wyndham was perfect. A quick 5 min walk and we were there. The staff was very accommodating. The room was perfect for us. And the pool was great. A little small but we were the only ones in there and it was nice and warm. Thank you for a great weekend.
Disliked: There were only a few small things that really didn't affect the quality of our stay. First our room keys didn't work so we couldn't get into our room. But the staff was right there to help and we were in in no time. Second, I was in the bed next to the window and heater. Every time the heat kicked on it blew cold air on my back until it warmed up. No way to adjust the direction of air I could see. Not a big deal after i moved over but definitely woke me up more than once. Lastly, the breakfast wasn't very good. The skillet could have been cooked longer and my kids pancakes were dry and floury. The orange juice was watery. It was edible though and my kids didn't notice so all was ok. And again the service was good.

Liked: Nothing. Our room was given away upon arrival so we needed to move to the downtown Wyndham. it was a major hassle and put a real damper on our trip. Then we had to move back to the University Wyndham (the one I booked originally) for the Saturday night. It put a real damper on our weekend away.
Disliked: Everything. Needed two Queen bed. They are quite small. Cleanliness could be improved. The Downtown Pittsburgh Wyndham seemed to be very old.

Stayed one night so we could tour the Univ of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon. It was the perfect location! Extremely convenient. We were able to leave our car in the garage all day until it was time to head to the airport. There was a parking charge, but that was not surprising in a metro area. The beds were fine, the shower a little anemic but acceptable. The lobby was a little sterile. Did not try the restaurant as there are so many other choices in the Oakland area.
Liked: Location was very convenient!
Disliked: In our 6th floor room facing Lytton Avenue (looking at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial) we were greeted in the early morning by huge construction noise coming from across the street, at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association. The hotel can't control construction, but they might have had the courtesy to warn us at check in.The worst issue was technology. The Wi-Fi in the room was useless on any device we tried. We could connect, but the speed was worse than AOL dialup. I reported this to the front desk (had to call twice to get an answer) but was referred to an 800 number that I was not about to spend my time calling. The business center in the lobby had three computers, one of which was in use. The other two computers were so slow that it took me nearly 30 minutes to print out a few boarding passes. They are not old computers so this is either a virus, bad software or just a horrible LAN connection. Finally, the toilet had a leaky valve and so kept refilling itself all night, a huge waste of water and another annoying noise to contend with. (I reported this to the front desk)
