Wyndham Moline on John Deere Commons

I had prepaid for the room back in November. I couldn’t make it to the concert so I gave my tickets and my room to my son. I called the hotel on 3/27/24 and talked to Pam. She said my son could take over the room since it was paid in full. He just needed a card and would be charged a $50 deposit. When my son got to the hotel, James was very rude and said that the room wasn’t paid for and that they needed a card for $278. I tried explaining it to him on the phone and told him what Pam said but he wasn’t having it. So I hung up and called the hotel and talked to Anna and she said that everything was good and apologized for the trouble. Then when my son went to check out they wouldn’t let him. They said he owed for the room because it wasn’t paid for. What the hell???? Terrible service and they don’t know what they are doing. I feel I should get a full refund for all the trouble they gave us. We will not be back!

Liked: The beds are very comfortable.
Disliked: Told we could not get a printed receipt at checkout because we booked through Priceline. My husband needs that receipt to get reimbursed.

The room was impeccable, very well appointed. Staff was extremely professional. I will certainly return! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Nice over all, but too...

Liked: Good breakfast and nice rooms and overall clean.
Disliked: Due to the amount of baseball travel, teams and parents that were drinking in the downtown space lobby while their kids were running around and playing in the pool. My kids cannot enter the pool. The kids were so rowdy, throwing towels in the pool, screaming that it was not a good environment to be in. When I let the front desk attendant know, she said that she had tried to talk to the parents, but they would not listen to her, and there was nothing she could do about it at that point.

Liked: Very nice hotel, with view of the water. Hotel was extremely clean, beds were comfy and breakfast was good. Lots of great pubs to visit nearby.

Liked: Clean and contemporary hotel with a great location near the water taxi stop and John Deere exhibit. Nice rooms, good pool, breakfast is decent

Liked: The room was clean, the shower was great, and the breakfast was very good. The front desk person was very polite.
Disliked: We were surprised that there was a charge for parking- although $5.00 is not much to pay.
