Wyndham Inn on Long Wharf

Surprised the concierge did not...

Liked: Location was good; ideal to proximity of main downtown Newport area/shopping/restaurants
Disliked: Our particular floor had a massive ceiling water leak in the lobby area, we had to walk by which was still there the entire week, there was a mildew smell through hallway.

Very nice overall. Would recommend.

Liked: I didn't know there was breakfast available....I loved the rooftop deck to the Inn and the location within the city. The views were amazing. The staff was quick to respond to any need we had.
Disliked: I could have benefitted from staff giving me an overview of the property but I never got one.The central air was nice in the main room but didn't cool the bedroom well so I asked for and got a fan.

Liked: The location and the unit were excellent. The bed was a queen but so comfortable we slept solid.

Disliked: The person who checked us was pleasant but only checked us in for 2 of our 3 nights, which we didn’t notice until we got automatic texts telling us we were supposed to check out early. Even after another associate helped correct the error, we still got a knock on the door from housekeeping and had to tell them we weren’t checking out early.

Liked: Excellent location, room, and helpful staff. The room was clean and the water view was breathtaking. It exceeded my expectations.
