Great apartment in Melbourne

Liked: Apartment block with mixed use, some apartments, some counsel chambers etc. We checked in very late but check in was great and no problems. Close to Marvel stadium and convenience stores close by. Trams nearby and easy to get around the city from the Wyndham. Apartment seemed a little smaller in real life than the pictures but this wasn't a problem. Washing machine and drier in apartment which was really helpful. Great apartment and would return
Disliked: Couldn't close bedroom doors in either room as bed too long! Had to push bed at an angle to close doors!!

Pleasant

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Having to up turn the apartment for the heating and TV remotes. I didn't realise that having them wedged under the cushions in the join of the sofa was considered the 'open your eyes section'

Dissatisfied!

Liked: Did not get the room that we booked ! In fact the room was terrible! So small, no dining area, not even room for a couch as per the room type! RoomType advertised as deluxe also promised a dining area and couch ! Four chairs and a coffee table and no room for even a suitcase! Children’s room was so small could get past the door as it hit the bed ! Master bedroom was so tiny, had to turn sideways to get into bed! Smallest room we have ever had at Wyndham and we have stayed many times. Definitely was not a deluxe room as we booked and purchased !
Disliked: As above ! Room size was hideous! I did speak to reception but was told they had overbooked and there was nothing they could do!

Excellent room, location and staff....

Liked: Room spacious, comfortable bed, nice having cooking facilities if needed. Staff welcoming
Disliked: Bathroom. Toilet, basin and shower next to each other on one side of room, When you turned to get toilet paper you hit your shoulder on basin. There was a huge amount of wasted space

Real comfortable beds

Liked: Location was great, clean and comfortable beds
Disliked: Lighting it was very yellow everywhere which made it harder to apply make up. Also, our tv couldn't handle foxtel and kept flickering.

Very good

Liked: Great location, friendly staff. Convenient parking near by, good pool and great views from pool deck
Disliked: Place was a bit shabby. Shared doorway between bathroom and master bedroom wasn't ideal

Exceptional

Personally, I liked the location...

Liked: The rooms were well-maintained and clean. It was nice to come back to at the end of the day to relax. I also felt safe, as the room is within a residential complex that required swipe card access. The location was convenient with a multiple tram stops within a 2 minute walk of the building and a 10-15 minute walk from Southern Cross Station
Disliked: Can’t think of anything
