William, Parkville, visiting Rex Theatre Pittsburgh Tue, 27 September 2016
ConcertHotels.com gave me the cheapest rate among many sites, including trying to book direct; cheap cab ride to the Rex.
Liked: Great location.

Great location; problems with parking and valet. The rooms were small and cramped; overpriced for the quality of the accommodation.
Liked: Good location.
Disliked: Terrible parking arrangement and overpriced for the small size of our room.

Watch out for hefty deposits...
Liked: Not much.
Disliked: Parking was $35 dollars a night! Per car! We had two cars. The rooms were small. I asked for a city view and was given a river view. The sign at check in says they'll hold $50 per room for incidentals and any charges would be applied to the $50 held. Upon check out, I see that in addition to the $100 held for my two rooms, another $100 was taken. They said I went $10 over the $100, so they took another $100 just in case. WTF. Seriously. And no one told me and the signs did not say that was even possible. It's been four days and they money is till being held. I'm told it should be released by the end of the week. The hold was for 7 days! Not cool.

Liked: Valet parking
Disliked: The floor we were on had a bunch of loud kids. They were screaming, yelling and slamming doors till 2am. You can hear everything that goes on in the hall like it was happening in your room.
