Wyndham Garden Wichita Downtown

Bad. Very bad.

Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: Was assigned an occupied room. The A/C leaked soaking the the carpeting in the AM. Room missing a wash cloth. The hotel offered a "hot breakfast." At 07:00, there were sausage patties. Cereal but no milk. Bagels but no cream cheese. No tea. Only one working ice machine (4th floor) and the signs on the out of service ones were no help.

You can tell it was an older motel because of the musty smell. But it was OK for the price.

Liked: The price.
Disliked: The cubicle room that we had. The room next to us - the door was right next to ours. You could hear everything from the next room.

The staff was wonderful. Very, very pleased with everything.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The pool was closed on a Saturday and I was not told unitl after I paid.

Liked: The staff was awesome, we rode our motorcycle and they let me park under the pavilion
Disliked: Shower pressure was weak and rooms were small

The neighborhood did not feel...

Liked: Air conditioner worked okay, but it needed to be reset often to stay cool.
Disliked: The location was in an area where the people around us didn't look safe. We were approached by a homeless woman asking for money. And the side entrance was not attended so anyone could walk in with others assuming they were guests. Parking was in back off to the side alley near the side entrance again not feeling safe. It was touted as 'Downtown Wichita" but it was really about 10 blocks from the downtown area.

Passable

Liked: Property was ok. Did smell like natural gas outside in the lobby and hallways but the room smelled ok.
Disliked: Smell and the out dated look
