Liked: Proximity to airport with free shuttle service, kids enjoyed the pool, breakfast offered a good selection of items
Disliked: No hot water in the shower (not exaggerating...literally had no hot water!), the AC unit was loud, no mini-fridge in the room,

Liked: No sounds from the airport, quiet despite its closeness to the airport, comfortable bed, clean
Disliked: The AC in my room could not cope with the humidity, condensation on surfaces and floor. The breakfast was mediocre - all carbs and sugar.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was adequate, the front desk staff was very kind and accommodating
Disliked: The lobby and lounge area was very raggedy looking. The plants, which should have been lush, we're dead and very sad looking. The lounge furnishings were scattered in a very disorganized manner. We chose this place because we needed laundry facilities and were informed that they were out of order, very disappointed. The room (#1) had slippery floors, the bathroom was problematic. There was an open light fixture near the walk in shower. The toilet did not flush adequately. The shower did not drain and leaked all over the room. No hair dryer.Room (#2) had slippery floors, looked like condensation from the humidity. But in general was a much better room. Just a note, toilet paper holder in both rooms kept pulling out of the wall. They had not been attached to the wall.Was very disappointed, have always enjoyed Wyndham properties in our past travels.

It was ok
Liked: The location of the property was perfect, I had an early morning flight and I hate mornings therefore I needed to be close to the airport.
Disliked: There’s a few things that would make me never stay there again while visiting Detroit. There’s supposedly a $140 cash only deposit. Which is fine because they’re protecting their property. However while checking in, I noticed some people did not pay the deposit, I had to. The receptionist would not move forward with checking me in until I got the cash from the atm. Second the door to the room was janky and didn’t open or close due to it slightly being off the hinges. The ice machine on the second floor didn’t work. Furnishings and fixtures throughout the hallways. Checking out was the worst experience of my life and I’m an airline employee who practically lives in a different hotel every week. I go to check out and get my cash deposit back and to ask the receptionist what time is the shuttle leaving, she said I had five minutes, not a problem. At four minutes prior to departure of the shuttle she just walks away ( I assume to go visually check the room) and the shuttle pulls off. I tell her that he’s gone. She said well I’m not giving you your deposit back… I don’t smoke or drink and I took care of the room. Not to mention I wasn’t even there the whole time. My guest was still there. No problem, I will call him to tell him to leave. What was so wrong to me is that none of the people that checked out and made the shuttle got their room checked.
