If you don't need a...
Liked: Fantastic location, right on the water with a boat dock attached to the hotel. The lake facing room we stayed in had a little table and chairs in a little area in front of the room. Free breakfast is always a plus, sausage biscuit was the beat thing. Tv was a decent sized smart tv. Location was pretty good, Publix across the street, waffle house within walking distance, not too far from downtown, but still close to the highway.
Disliked: Hotel allows boat trailers to use an additional parking space, and parking is limited already. May not be an issue on a nonholiday visit, but I ended up having to park quite a bit away, I was closer to th waffle house than the hotel.Rooms needed updating badly. Vent in bathroom didn't work, couldn't shut bathroom door if you were already sitting on the toilet. No overhead lights in room, only side lamps. Sheets had stains, towels smelled as if they disnt get fully dry, laminate flooring was dirty when we arrived. Entry door was hard to open, looked like someone had busted up the side thing to pry it open. Keywords were finicky, a neighbor had to show me the trick, and I saw two other people having the same issue later.

Liked: The bed was somewhat comfortable.. enjoyed Guntersville just not this hotel!
Disliked: The breakfast was sketchy The front desk lady on the evening shift was super rude! The noise from just outside our room, it felt like our door wasn’t even closed! We heard the vehicles at the intersection all night long, the walls need some insulation! We left early the second day because we knew we would sleep better if we just went home!

Liked: The setting was great being right on the lake. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel is in terrible need of a up grade. The carpet in the room needed cleaning. The shower also needed an upgrade.

Liked: Staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Parking after 8pm is almost non existent due to the bar patrons parking in front of hotel guest's rooms.
