The staff was friendly but...

Liked: The breakfast was fine.
Disliked: The hotel has not been well maintained. The day the cleaning staff came she just pulled the bed cover up without changing or making the bed.

Great location, very basic, not...

Liked: the location is great, walkable to many restaurants, the lakefront, museums, great parking space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful.
Disliked: The rooms and facility were dirty, noisy, renovation workmanship is very shoddy, the bedding was oddly thin and cheap, the AC was very loud; it's as if the owners gave up on finishing this hotel, or they're not going to bother fixing it up because maybe they'll sell it to someone who will. Breakfast was really bad, even the coffee was not good. I have stayed at other Wyndham hotels and expected more from this brand.

Disliked: No tea making facilities, gym with no bench or mats (extremely basic), staff unfriendly/disinterested at times, no bat plug and then when provided it let water leak out.

Would probably do it again.

Liked: I believe her name is Cyntha (usually works afternoons with a mullet looking hair cut, was nice, dry sense of humor but funny.
Disliked: The room exit doors are a bit loud.
