Liked: The location was pretty much the only positive
Disliked: We checked in and paid cash for our room - we were only staying for 1 night, so it was just easier. They asked for a $100 deposit for incidentals, which was fine. I gave them my debit card for that. It came out of my account immediately, also fine... UNTIL, the next morning when I woke up to find they had take an additional $132.91. I went to the front desk and no one could tell me what that was for. We literally checked in at 11pm and were checking out by 7am. We didn't order anything, use the wifi, or tv... nothing. The girl at the front desk gave her best customer service performance... "I'm working hard to figure this out!" And "Your money is my money!" But at the end of the day, it was just platitudes because she still could not tell me WHY I was charged an additional $132 overnight. AND then told me her manager was off today but she had texted him... with no response for over two hours and wouldn't call him because he was relaxing on his day off. I still haven't gotten that money refunded. So basically I paid almost $500 to stay in a 2 star motel, with a fridge that didn't work, hair in the tub, and a heavy smell of chemicals. We travel to this area multiple times a year, but this will definitely be on our no stay list after this experience.

Liked: The location is perfect. You can walk to most of the local restaurants and stores (but be warned, they all close by like 5pm and aren't open Sunday or Monday)
Disliked: It definitely could've been cleaner. Nothing gross like bugs but the room definitely needed a deeper clean. The beds could use an upgrade too. I woke up feeling bedsprings in my hip bones every morning!
