Very unpleasant and cold.

Overall, my stay was great,...
Liked: I liked the location of the property. Having a McDonalds next door was very convenient. I liked the option to eat at the hotel as well. I loved how Housekeeping came every morning during our 3 night stay. The staff had great customer service. Our floor was quiet and friendly people. Our bed was comfortable as well.
Disliked: The only two things I did not like was the pool was not heated, and the hotel smelled like weed every single night.

Disliked: To: Wyndham Hotel Owner or ManagerSubject: Request for Refund or Compensation for Unacceptable Room Condition (Room 522, June 8, 2025)Dear Sir/Madam,My name is Steven Yim, and I checked into your hotel on the evening of June 8, 2025, around 7:00 PM. I was assigned Room 522.Shortly after bringing my luggage into the room—within approximately 10 minutes—I turned on the air conditioner and immediately noticed a loud, disturbing noise consistent with a malfunctioning bearing. It was clear that the unit was broken and not in proper working condition.I promptly reported the issue to the staff on duty and requested a room change. However, my request was denied. I was told that because I had opened my suitcase and briefly sat on the bed, I was no longer eligible to switch rooms. I find this explanation completely unacceptable, especially considering that I had only been in the room for a few minutes and had not used any amenities beyond entering the room.Due to the extremely loud noise from the broken air conditioner, I was unable to sleep properly that night. This experience significantly impacted my stay and caused me a great deal of inconvenience.I am formally requesting a refund or appropriate compensation for the night of June 8, 2025. If this issue is not resolved promptly and fairly, I will have no choice but to report this incident to the Consumer Protection Agency and the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Please address this matter at your earliest convenience.Sincerely,Steven YimRoom 522Check-in: June 8, 2025, ~7:00 PM
