Wyndham Garden Chinatown

We attended an event at The Bowery and stayed here at the Wyndham Garden. It was nice and close. The hotel staff were very helpful. Great hotel. I would stay here again.

Liked: Nice comfortable beds.

Pleasant

Liked: Generous and hospitable staff
Disliked: AC didn't work almost the entire duration of our stay. Room was almost 85 degrees and humid, made for a very sweaty and uncomfortable sleep.

Very good

Broken AC at this rate...

Liked: Good location. Close to subway, Chinatown and Little Italy.
Disliked: AC could not be fixed after requesting it to be fixed during the hottest days of the year. Room was at 79-80 F the entire time. They provided 2 fans which made it bearable to sleep. Unacceptable but at least the staff and engineers were friendly and apologetic.

Covers basic needs

Liked: Really good location right in the middle of Chinatown, clean rooms.
Disliked: Breakfast was in the basement, and there weren’t enough tables for the guests. The breakfast itself was not too good either. Our coffee machine didn’t work and was never fixed despite reporting it to the staff.

Disliked: Small room, very compact hotel, receptionist was a grumpy person

Liked: I would like to thank the person in the check in was so nice and smiling she was alone when I came she is so nice keep doing a good job

Passable

Amazing skyline views

Liked: Had a corner room at one of the top floors with pretty much unbeatable views of the central Manhattan and One World Trade Center skylines. Really impressive, while the room itself was nice enough for the budget. Everything else was living up to expectation.
Disliked: Seems they charge a 25-dollar servicing fee per night, which was not included in the Booking.com price. This ultimately buys you breakfast but for someone who explicitly books hotels without breakfast this mandatory charge is sort of a waste of money.

Exceptional

Liked: Loved that there was a refrigerator in the room, and the location was close to excellent food spots as well as transit stations.Staff were very helpful. Shout out to my boy who called a ride for us at 3:30 in the am.
Disliked: There could be a little more lighting in the room.
