Wyndham Garden Chinatown

We attended an event at The Bowery and stayed here at the Wyndham Garden. It was nice and close. The hotel staff were very helpful. Great hotel. I would stay here again.

Liked: Nice comfortable beds.

Liked: Value for money , located in Manhattan. Beds very soft. Clean rooms, clean towels every day. Satisfying breakfast. Staff(especially Blanca at reception and guys in breakfast) warm, willing to provide assistance
Disliked: Beds were soft and comfortable but a little small for two persons on each. 50$ / night holding is too much and especially when you come for vacay and you need to have money. And the return is up to 7 business days as i saw. Booking.com did not answer to any concearns of ours. Only AI and not satisfyingly. We communicated with a lot of providers during our stay and all of them had real people that answered asap. We hoped that booking was present as well .Guest must have in mind that in case they book for 4, although booking says breakfast included, breakfast is only for two.. You are given dated vouchers and if the other guests are over 12 and wish to have breakfast as well, they must pay extra..fortunately we have kids under up to 12 years old

Liked: Location and breakfast was good. Staff were friendly
Disliked: Inflexible check-in time. Many extra charges and complications with damage deposit. Some nose from street level traffic. Smelly room!

Disliked: The area that they have serve breakfast got full very quickly. Could be worth mentioning to people when they come down to just take their food back to their room.

Liked: Location was good - close to subway station. Room was good.
Disliked: Breakfast was acceptable while was expecting more for 4 star hotels - lack of seating places despite huge quantity of guests. Personnel at the reception were not very pleasant. It is taking too long for getting deposit back to the credit card.

I would definitely stay there...

Liked: It was more then expected. I had called before my trip to request the highest room. Possible. Was told 5 was the highest for the single queen room. At early check in I requested highest room again. At arrival the staff was very friendly and let us leave our bags since it was several hours before 3 even though I didn't pay for early check in. By the time we got back after sight seeing a little, the staff had already taken our bags to the room and set them nicely inside the door. They gave us a room on the 7th floor AND it had a balcony! the staff at breakfast was very polite and helpful. Every time we came and went, the front desk staff was friendly and smiled. I would definitely stay there again!
Disliked: The only thing that was a little of an issue was the seating in the breakfast room. It wasn't too bad during the week but on the weekend it was pretty packed. The other thing was the elevator. Friday and Saturday evenings were a little rough because only one elevator was open and with the bar upstairs it was sometimes a pretty long wait to get up to the room. Still.. nothing that would make me not want to stay there again.
