Fantastic break in beautiful surroundings...

Liked: Great location and apartments amazing , well equipped and spacious
Disliked: Difficult to find with sat nav but receptionist kindly directed me in

Not as expected.

Disliked: The appliances were not working properly. Kitchen floor was very unclean. Sofa bed was not in good shape. Mattress topper was torn. Toiletries were not available in bathrooms. Washing machine was very dirty.

When is a country club...

Liked: Pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, playground and al-weather football pitch
Disliked: Cleaning was not up to standard on arrival. No stair gate despite having been promised one. Squeaky floorboards. No restaurant or cafe - particularly missed because only way to get one is by car and difficult junction on A38 to navigate. Insufficient excuse to say ‘seeking an operator’

Absolutely amazing experience!

Liked: Leisure facility- pool, sauna was easily accessible. Fully functioning kitchen for the family to cook meals on days we didn't want to eat out. Wonderful cottage for family to stay and spend time with each other in the living room and dining room. Small drive to Barton Marina for great restaurants. Perfectly placed in between Birmingham, Peak District and Nottingham!
Disliked: The restaurant was closed for renovation which was unfortunate.
