Good location away from city,...
Liked: Comfortable bed and free breakfast - good value for the price. A lot of good restaurants in Wrigleyville, with a short walk to the transit to take you downtown. Seemed to be a safe area away from the city, with a secure door code and 24 hour staff.
Disliked: The bathroom situation was less than ideal - with only one shower on the floor for ~15 people, it was annoying to have to wait for extended periods of time when everyone wants to shower. A community-stye bathroom with shower stalls would be much better. Many spots of the bathroom were not very clean, even when using it directly after cleaning. Some bathrooms also don't have mirrors. Luggage storage in the room was a huge hassle - VERY loud, right next to a bunk, wakes up the entire room trying to get ready in the morning.

Hostel is good but could...
Liked: This was my second stay. I had an opportunity to really enjoy other world-wide travelers and take advantage too of the intentional opportunities WHostel provides for us to get to know 1 another via food, games, movies, etc.
Disliked: Same as before: No paper towels in the kitchen/bathrooms. Bathrooms have cloth handtowels only. Also, no dishwasher ... hence, dishes aren't sanitized. No hooks for towels/coats, and no lights attached to beds ... must turn on overhead lights which disturb other roommates. Don't understand why these few amenities aren't provided.

! Glad I came back!...
Liked: My 2nd visit, I was glad to be here on "pizza nite" to meet/talk w/other world-wide travelers. Too, after having stayed at other Chicago housing units, I appreciate more what this place offers.
Disliked: Better, more considerate lighting. Bedroom, overhead dorm lights perforce disturb other guests. No paper towels in the bathroom/kitchen. Don't care for bathroom cloth towels re: sanitation issues.
