A gem in the Surrey...

Liked: Beautiful building, rooms are clean and comfortable.The staff make this hotel so special. Nothing is too much trouble. They all work hard to ensure guests have a great stay.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Breakfast choices excellent but needed to do a fair bit of walking around to find these. Staff very helpful and friendly . Location excellent with beautiful setting/grounds and places to sit or get drinks.
Disliked: Bathroom cramped and getting out of the shower in the Bath tricky even for agile people.

Disliked: Rooms very hot, carpet on stairs had a wear hole room was lovely being an old building there was Dyson fans but no air conditioning

Liked: Beautiful grounds, staff were very professional and polite. Restaurant food was lovely
Disliked: Would never go there again if there was a wedding. Queued to check in for 20 mins in the hot sun, no space on terrace , bar overwhelmed and drinks in restaurant arrived with main course . hotel totally taken over with wedding guests.

Liked: The room needs to have A/C especially during Summer time as the heat in the room was intolerable.Breakfast was excellent.Dinner was superp.Good stay
Disliked: The room had no cooling (A/C) which made it very difficult to sleep.

A luxury weekend for the...

Liked: My room was available early for me, which as I am 87, was a real bonus. Most comfortable bed, and bathroom facilities were excellent, though I did flood the floor (walk in shower)! The ambiance of the hotel was beautiful, with the accent on stately and very comfortable surroundings. Your Staff were kind, attentive and very accommodating. I was there for the wedding of Will and Robyn. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you.
Disliked: It was a very hot weekend. I have a love/hate with air con, but the bedroom was hot. I did open a window slightly. My hot breakfast on Monday morning was cold. All other food was very tasty.
