Liked: The location and character of the property
Disliked: The service and lack of communication re a problem we had in the room. The shower flooded and we had to use our towels to mop the floor, we let them know that the drain was obviously blocked hence the flooding and asked for fresh towels. We were attending a wedding so didn't realise until the next morning we still didn't have fresh towels nor had our room service trays been taken away. The breakfast was awful, self service to cheap food that had been sat under heat too long. For £15 per head you'd expect to be served fresh food!

Liked: I hadn't anticipated the history and ethos of the place which was interesting.
Disliked: I was in room 9 and the noise (wedding party) was too much. I requested another room at 10:30pm and was put in 24 which was very quiet and comfortable. Not sure why I was put in 9 when it must have been known it would be noisy until midnight.

Disliked: Rooms are very tired. Walls stained and marked. Carpets stained and marked . Toilet in bedroom continuously filled all night. Bathroom had mould on grout

Exceptional

Liked: Quiet location in stunning surroundings made a lovely romantic get away. The room was lovely, clean and welcoming with a four poster bed and good food.
Disliked: N/a
