Worlington Hall

Wonderful!

Liked: My partner and I love this hall and would certainly recommend it . The air conditioner was an added bonus!
Disliked: For us we could not fault our experience.

Not the worst, but would...

Liked: Spacious and pleasant surroundings
Disliked: Provided with a whole house just for one night's business stay - was not really an appropriate space and a little inconvenient to be split level, especially when physically tired after a hard day's graft. A bit run down in parts. Wifi did not work at all and no television aerial, so no TV. Could be cleaner. Sofa was covered in stains. No restaurant - not made clear on listing or website the opening times. Local takeaways can deliver but quality was awful from the one I selected. All in all, not an easy or comfortable stay after a long day.

Disliked: It was so dirty, full of spiders, the closets full of dirty bed sheets. The AC was not working. It was a bad experience

Liked: Pretty and welcoming I liked the interiors and the separate room we ate in the bedroom was quite big and the bathroom was spotless the grounds were fun for the kids in the party
Disliked: No staff around in the morning when I was trying to get transport info - the staff member I eventually found that helped me was willing to help but didn’t know much about buses or taxis etc - plus the hotel is way out of bury which I hadn’t appreciated properly and I felt stranded because I had no car

Liked: Everyone was so friendly, the owners were absolutely wonderful, so welcoming. They were happy to help with anything. My parents are very elderly, I went with them to help, and all the staff were so wonderful, especially with my dad who has alzheimers so can get a little confused. I'd highly recommend it here, one of our best stays.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable room with...

Liked: We stayed in the Elizabeth room on the first floor which was beautifully furnished and very clean. This room gives you a great view over the back lawns down to the river. We were there on a Sunday & Monday evening. The restaurant/bar closes at 7:30 on Sunday & is closed completed on Monday/Tuesday so it was very quiet. If you are there when the restaurant and back patio is in use it might be a bit noisy as you are right over it.
Disliked: Some attention to quality of small details. Window blind in bathroom had slats broken off. Toilet seat surface was cracked in multiple places. Breakfast hamper supplied for mornings restaurant was closed was very basic, not really worth the bother for an establishment that normally has a good quality restaurant. Amount of food supplied was not enough for 2 people for 2 days. Other pub in the village is also closed on Monday/Tuesday.On Monday/Tuesdays there were no staff to interact with - no cleaners, reception etc Owners were on site but did not really acknowledge or check on visitors.

Liked: Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and delicious
Disliked: Sometimes difficult to find a member of staff - but they were very friendly and helpful when we found them :)
