Liked: Clean, spacious, woodsy
Disliked: Our room was downgraded the day before arrival due to over booking even though we booked 6 months in advance. The downgraded room did not work for our situation. After a long call and waiting on hold they found us an upgrades room for the week instead. It all worked out for the better but it was unneeded stress the day before we were leaving for the trip. I guess moving forward it may be smart to book a back up option at another property to avoid this scare again.

Wonderful stay with a few...

Liked: The location is peaceful, beautiful setting. Love balcony & view. Close to hiking trails & other outdoor activities, restaurants, specialty shops. The entire staff is very friendly, accommodating. We had a maintenance issue which was tended to immediately. Entertaining game rm. Board games available as well. Great kitchen facilities. Comfortable king-size bed.
Disliked: Furniture used to be very comfortable with room having a warm & homey feel. Redecorating is sterile; living rm furniture not comfortable. Stereo system and DVD player used to be included within suite. Now DVD player is provided upon request. No music system is available. Big disappointment.

Good stay for activies and...

Liked: Pros: Location was gorgeous and the staff excellent. Lots of on-site activities to use. Cons: No oven so we made use of the gas bbq. The bed was very uncomfortable. No hot water - full strength was barely hot enough for a shower, it would have never filled the bathtub to a comfortable warmth. WiFi - You’re given a password at check-in but when you go to sign in it states that it’s an unsecured site in addition to charging a fee for using this unsecured site.
