Did not get to stay...
Liked: We booked through booking.com - that part was easy/convenient.
Disliked: We were bumped from our reservation THE DAY we were arriving, due to OVERBOOKING. We had 3 small children and were in town to see 2 elderly, sick people. There was NO WHERE for us to stay. We were offered a room with 2 beds at a LaQuinta and that did not come close to meeting our needs. We were 2 hours from arriving on a 4+ hours drive with 3 kids under age 5 when we got the call that we had been bumped from our reservation. I checked my email to find an email received from the facility with the same information (no room available) at 1:45 pm that same day. To be inconvenienced with so little time or options for other arrangements is inexcusable. No compensation for our hardship was given. I understand things happen - but how this was handled and how it affected us was horrible. Once we arrived back home, we had to call to get reimbursed which we still have not received at 7 days following the cancellation.

Liked: It was clean, comfortable and the views of the lake and sunsets were beautiful.
Disliked: The parents of the kids upstairs letting them run wild after 10 PM.

The stay was wonderful and...
Liked: Location was excellent, scenic and well maintained. Priced well vs. traditional Hotel or bed and breakfast stay for a family. Clean and very comfortably appointed.
Disliked: Could have used a little less in the way of advertising for future stays. Requesting a 2 to 3 hour sit down session explaining the benefits of WorldMark properties with gifting to follow. Felt a little like a request from a time share company

Took our money and cancelled...
Disliked: They cancelled our reservation 5 hours before check in due to overbooking. Plus they had already charged me 5 days prior. Forced us to stay in a 2 queen bed hotel room at the Holiday InnExpress when we were supposed to have an 1100 SQ ft 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and living room. No apologies, no trying to find comparable lodging, no acknowledgement of their failure. They had blatant disregard for our family and ruined our relaxing weekend. The people at the Wyndham check in desk said they could do nothing to help. They parroted the corporate line of we have no control, the reservation people and corporate are to blame. Rude and unhelpful on the phone after being on hold for 2 hours. I would never recommend Worldmark Marble Falls.

Liked: View and the spaciousness of the unit Everything I would think I needed was provided in order for me to make a Christmas Eve Dinner Christmas Day Breakfast for the family.
