beautifully welcoming setting & accommodation
Liked: The property was very clean and welcoming The surrounds so peaceful and a great representation of yester-year.Beds incredibly comfy and plenty of wood and heating.
Disliked: Disappointed to find option to preorder food packages on arrival. We were unaware of this offer and may have utilized it f we'd known pre arrangement required.

Liked: Having not heard of the place (and booking last minute with a major event down the road!!) and arriving after dark, I was BLOWN AWAY at sunrise!!! Stunning property, quaint cottage plus brilliant and discrete staff. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds with the little spare time I found on the Sunday!!!Thank you so much for both your care and professionalism at my time of checkout (especially when considering I buggered up the booking AND was 2 hours or more late to leave as a result!!) A little kindness from cleaning/maintenance staff can go a very long way - thank you so much.

Quaint cottage
Liked: Lovely quiet area. Quaint cottage. Comfy king size bed. Lots of heaters and fire.
Disliked: There was a blind missing in the kitchen area of our cottage , when I rang the caretakers number she said she thought it might be broken but that was it, no other suggestions or offers of a solution at all. She said no one should be around looking in at night .However there were lots of tourists walking round in the day time looking in and I’d have preferred privacy. Better signage to key collection is needed, luckily the shop was open and a lovely young girl showed us where it was but there were no directions provided in the arrival message. TV was also the smallest they could possibly find. There’s room for bigger.
