Excellent hotel with good staff and well situated for the town centre. Pity about the hot water. You don't expect that these days.
Liked: Our room was very nice. Clean and spacious. Nice bathroom, with bath and shower. The reception was very polite and helpful and the bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch.
Disliked: Very disappointed that there was no hot water in the morning. To not be able to shower or wash properly was really not very good. We were told initially that it was because the hotel was full?!

Excellent location. Very clean and breakfast was good. Excellent value for money.
Liked: The location.
Disliked: Yes, it was too hot. Turn the heating down and save yourselves some money!

Clean and great location
Liked: Clean and comfortable
Disliked: Breakfast was cramped. Room key is an actual key not a card. Not a fan of this as a key can be copied

Liked: Breakfast was 1st class, i like my food and am rather picky about it, this was a good quality cooked breakfast, Room was better than average for this type of budget hotel, if i had a complaint it was that the pillow was hard but that is nit picking and one can put up with a minor for one night, however, the bed was comfy. Location was good, only a couple of minutes walk into town. They even let us leave our car there free of charge on the day we booked out while we did some exploring of the local amenities.
Disliked: A bonus would have been better pillows, but as stated above, it was only a one night stay, so hey ho not the end of the world.

Not great for families
Liked: The staff were nice
Disliked: The room wasn't a family room, it was a double with a sofa bed, when I let them know they came and unfolded the sofa bed, this was squeezed right up to the coffee making facilities and drawers. it was very uncomfortable. The room was covered in cob webs. There were no lamps in the room at all, it was either too bright or pitch black, again no good for travelling with small children. We were unable to get a meal until 7.15pm as they had closed off the first hour. There was hardly any breakfast available for a vegetarian.
