Liked: Cabin no 511. Bedroom was pretty decorated in light colors with sweet, big window and very comfy bed and linen.
Living room with super view on water cascade, fireplace and audio.
Outside: patio with furnitures - good for warmer days then we had ..., fine place to sit and look around. Walking distance to restaurants and forest paths.
Good location, a few steps to find everything around, but ... we were there when the place was almost empty, no tourists outside because of coronavirus... Perhaps during peak season the location may be a little bit frustrating with people around looking into your room.. it depends if you want to escape from crowd or you like it.
Disliked: No breakfast service. Small bathroom. Poor electricity: only one power outlet in bedroom was working good, rest were out of power. No working lamps in bedroom. Poor, dark light in living room, no possibility to read in the evening - the lamp is so poor. No cleaning - only changing towels during our three nights stay. Dirty and old kitchen with incomplete cutlery set, no wine glasses (for vodka only). Very dirty windows. Dirt outside the house, old, dead plants in flowerpots... Cold in the bathroom - especially in the mornings.

We would return!
Liked: We thought the facility was a little more kept up last year. Seemed to be a lot of trash on the grounds and in the woods heading for the exit. We walked our dog around the property and noticed the trash and someone's Christmas tree on the grounds. I know with winter it can be hard to maintain grounds but someone should be monitoring it. The ice machine being outside seems very unsanitary. Other than that we love the place, the outside setting, waterfall and town is a bonus. Beds sleep so well.

Liked: What a magical experiences at Woodstock Way. The hotel was special in every way and all the extra touches just put it over the top. Fantastic bathroom toiletries, stocked mini bar, record player and books.........just wow! We felt like we were tucked away in the woods but we could be in the center of town less than 5 minute walk. And Cathy (or Catherine ?) was so kind and welcoming at the office/coffee shop. And free delicious coffee every morning! I am already planning my next trip.

Woodstock NO Way Hotel
Liked: the natural setting was beautiful. there was 1 quaint bonus: a turntable with records so scratched you'd listen to an LP 3 times as quickly because they were so scratched.
Disliked: there wasn't a breakfast, or a clock, or coffee or tea making facilities in the room, or an ashtray (which I was told would be provided for my 'verandah' without a chair). there was no microwave either. the mini bar was crammed with expensive drinks I'd never buy. the scenery around the hotel was beautiful, but the supreme being donated that gratis. the room wasn't near enough big compared to others I stayed in. I've just been to Hotel Monville in Montreal & Home 2 suites by Hilton in Chicago. both these charged A THIRD of what Woodstock Way charged & the rooms were 3 times as spacious, plus they had all the items you'd almost take for granted in hotels. at $650 for 2 nights, do you think i'd recommend it?
