A Beautiful Venue with Serious...

Liked: Let’s begin with the positives: the venue itself is absolutely stunning—both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained and create a wonderful ambiance. The Red Rooster restaurant delivers high-quality food, and a few of the staff members were genuinely warm and attentive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, which we truly appreciated.
Disliked: Now, for the less favorable side of our experience:Although the hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly and welcoming to service animals, I would not recommend staying here if you’re traveling with a dog. We stayed with two small, well-trained service dogs (6-pound Pomeranians) and informed the hotel ahead of time. While service animals are trained, they are still animals—and like any living creature, they can react when startled.On our last evening, after two previously uneventful dinners at the hotel restaurant, a child ran up to our dogs unexpectedly, causing one of them to bark. The manager approached us and stated that dogs are not allowed to bark (as if there were a switch for that

Liked: 5 star Vt. destination: Quiet luxury amid lush grounds, well-appointed establishment with fantastic aquatic, fitness, and spa facilities.

This was a beautiful inn...

Liked: Great service and food. Also the location was good. My family enjoyed the free tickets to billings farm.
Disliked: We felt the breakfast buffet was pricey but they were very accommodating by getting my kids breakfast a la carte.

Liked: A beautiful hotel, great staff, and a fun bar
Disliked: There was construction going on at the hotel, and we were woken up early

A wonderful stay

Liked: Absolutely beautiful staff was kind. They were very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.
Disliked: There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it. It’s a little pricey on the food and the drinks. But other than that, it was perfect.

Good

Liked: Nicely presented
Disliked: There needs to be lawn chairs out on the green front and back to lounge on and people watch and enjoy the outside

Pleasant

Liked: The menu at the Restaurant the Red Rooster was AWFUL and hardly any choices and very expensive.
Disliked: For a busy holiday weekend, the restaurant did not have many options for casual dining. The bar in the Tavern should have been opened as well and was closed.
