Go somewhere else!

Liked: When you book a hotel you expect a staff member to be around for check in regardless of time, my mistake! When trying to check in they have a dinky little 500 number to dial. After listening to the phone ring in their lobby for 50 minutes I took my girlfriend to the Hampton.
Disliked: I would appreciate the refund, after not staying in the hotel why should I pay for a room? It’s 149 to click a link that’s non refundable!

t would have been fine...

Liked: It was pretty clean and quiet
Disliked: They overbooked that weekend. We needed two, two bed rooms for two nights. That is what we needed and that is what we paid for and reserved. When we got there, one of our rooms only had one bed. No Couch! None of us were to sleep together but that forced two of us to do so! I did ask them for a two BR but they were sold out of every type of room. The next day, they did give us another one BR so we did have four beds.

The “Spirit Airlines” of Hotels...

Liked: The location was perfect. The neighborhood was very nice. The room was clean and the kitchen was great.
Disliked: The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. It was like sleeping on cement. There were only 3 pillows, an odd number for 2 people. The bed slid all over the hardwood floor anytime we shifted position or tried sitting with our backs against the wall. The bed was shoved into the corner of the room, off center of the tv, and only one bedside table, so the other person is crammed up against the wall with no table and has to climb in and out of the bed awkwardly. There was plenty of room in this room for the bed to be centered with 2 bedside tables. It’s just poorly laid out/designed.The free internet has a download speed of 1 MB per second which is ridiculous. You have to pay extra to be able to stream anything. The property has no security, and drunk people were literally running up and down the hallways, screaming and singing, until 2 or 3am. No one did anything about it. The pipes rattle loudly in the walls all night long. I thought it was funny that they advertise the rental of white noise sleeping aid machines in the front lobby. I guess that is their solution to this problem?I would not stay here again.

Lacking, insufferable staff

Liked: Place is clean... Verging on hospital sterility. Room was serviceable.
Disliked: The front desk guy (glasses, faint mustache, 'king' tattoo on his wrist) was possibly the worst service I've experienced. Took about 15-20 minutes to process each room even though everyone already paid up. (I saw him take this long for at least 10 other guests) The guy is totally silent and unwelcoming, doesn't offer any information and just clicks away on his computer at a snails pace. Meanwhile the lobby is cramped, hot and has been sprayed with so much cleaner it's hard to breathe. No music or ambiance so you can hear a pin drop. Each person that stays has to have their ID scanned which is a little weird, usually in my experience it's only the person that pays for the room. This process was about 5 minutes per person but the guy held my ID until the end despite checking in first. Then he just tells me I have to pay after not saying anything for 10 minutes. Huh? I get a little worried, I already booked online. He tells me it's a $50 'deposit' they return after you check out. Deposit for what? He didn't tell me, I don't remember seeing anything about that when booking. Then he asks if I want to pay for linen service while just staring at his computer. I have to ask him what that even means or includes. I guess here you have to pay extra to have your sheets and towels cleaned here, a service that's included in a base rate at every other hotel I've stayed at. Did they have breakfast, wifi, what's the checkout time, how do you turn on the lights? Couldn't tell ya, guy didn't offer any information just took our money and information and shoved us along. Would go out of my way to stay elsewhere next time.
