Horrible hotel in Lafayette LA

Disliked: They claimed that I didn't have a reservation in spite of 2 confirmation emails. I requested 2 beds and got 1. After changing that I found that they had no ice and the elevator was out of order. There was no staff at check out which was a relief since check in took over an hour. Basically it was a low quality hotel in a bad neighborhood unsuitable for family travelers.

Liked: Our rooms were still dirty from the previous stays. The beds were like sleeping on concrete. The entire hotel reeked of marijuana. The elevators were broken and the advertising said breakfast included with stay and their wasn’t even hotel staff there to do anything at all much less cook breakfast.

Disliked: We didn’t get soap in our room for the shower and people were up all night yelling and slamming doors.

For the price I did...

Liked: I felt really safe as you have to have a key to even get past the lobby. The rooms were pretty clean but the floor was a bit sticky.
Disliked: There was constant noise. People were playing loud music in the parking lot and the toilet made a constant thumping noise. The beds were very cheap and uncomfortable. Pictures made the room look more modern than they actually were
