Perfection and bliss!

Liked: Absolutely stunning! The place was beautiful and the staff made the experience entirely perfect! Ayesha checked us in and we had a wonderful conversation about the history of the building and the grounds and she then gave us advice about the local area and the surrounding countryside for walks and the best places to visit during our stay. Ayesha was so kind and always smiling and happy to help with any questions she made the hotel come to life with the way she spoke of it, real pleasure to speak with her. The restaurant was insane!!! The food was out of this world good! And catered for coeliacs aswell as the breakfast they even had gluten free croissants and they were absolutely superb!! The breakfast staff were very knowledgeable with allergies and informed on all of what I could have and what could potentially be contaminated which is amazing as I usually have to really ask so many questions but they were absolutely on point with everything which was such a huge bonus for me. I felt included rather than a hindrance which was really nice. We played chess outside on their giant chess board and enjoyed the sunshine on the patio. Will defo stay for longer next time it was absolutely stunning! Excellent attentive staff and excellent food and grounds. Such a beautiful energy to the place and really down to earth for such a luxury setting which was a perfect combination and I totally fell in love with the giant tree
Disliked: It was Perfect!! I don’t think my photos do the place the justice it deserves! Stunning all round!!

Would recommend

Liked: Location was excellent and the rooms were spacious and comfortable
Disliked: It would have been better to have an area of the breakfast room set aside for guests with dogs. We had to wait for a table to be made up outside.

Great value for money

Liked: We were there for a wedding and stayed a night, the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The room is spacious with all the amenities you need. Highly recommend!

Liked: Amazing hotel, great location just off the M25, 10 minute drive from Chessington World of Adventures. Lovely character, beautiful grounds, all staff so friendly and accommodating. Made to feel like a valued guest. Food excellent, we had tea and breakfast, absolutely delicious. Aysha, who was on reception was so nice and friendly, we got upgraded to lager bedrooms, they were huge more than enough space, you get complimentary bath robes and slippers, tea, coffee, and biscuits. They even offer complimentary cookies and milk for kids, we didn’t have it but it’s a nice touch. Couldn’t rate this place any better is was truly a comfortable stay.
