Relaxed stay for our wedding...

Liked: Old world charm with a relaxed 1930s vibe. Lovely staff who were eager to help the whole time.
Disliked: It’s very close to the M25 so you can hear traffic when sitting on the patio at the rear of the property.

Lovely 2 night stay and...

Liked: Location to access chessington adventures, dinner was delicious, great breakfast and choices, and all the staff were fantastic, couldn't fault
Disliked: Room clean and comfortable but could do with a little TLC.Sound of motorway traffic a few fields away could bother some people in garden, no noise inside, and we weren't bothered outdoors.

Disliked: Young male staff still learning the jobOccasional mistakes in food orders.Ran out of salmon for dinner/breakfast menus.

Liked: check in was ok although I didn't get my welcome letter. The room was great, bed was comfortable. clean sheets and towels etc. Other facilities were good.The grounds were beautiful.
Disliked: The floor in the room was very creaky, and noisy. There was a razor left on the top of the end of the shower screen which could easily have dropped into the bath tub. I ordered a meal for my daughter on room service which I paid for at the bar. But the tray was delivered with steak only, no chips. I had to leave my event to go back to the bar to rectify that.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, historical significance, quiet atmosphere despite weddings and meetings. Efficiency, amazing staff, except two male waiters in the lobby who never smiled and were a bit rude. But the rest were all extremely polite
Disliked: Nothing except the two male waiters mentioned above.
