Disliked: Extremely noisy between adjoining room walls, ceiling & floor.!Requires better sound proofing.!Other than this really nice.!

Dirty toilet seat with dried...

Liked: Location
Disliked: The room was shabby with paint on the carpet very tired decor and discovered dried wee on and under the toilet seat. The carpet had crumbs and white flecks where it hadn't been vacuumed properly. Not acceptable standard at all. We left and didn't spend the night in such an off-putting shabby room. Extremely disappointed.

Lovely characterful hotel in beautiful...

Liked: Beautiful quiet location, spacious room and friendly staff
Disliked: It’s a ‘dog friendly’ hotel, which is great if you don’t mind the sound of barking dogs

New forest and BBC Gardeners...

Liked: Fantastic Hotel with lovely rooms, great food, fantastic outdoor space. Staff also great. Location is great for the New Forest and Beuleigh, however only a ten minute drive from M27 (and note no road noise)
Disliked: The hotel hosts weddings so would guess with one bar area this would be busy. (please note this is a guess)

Ideal location...

Liked: Lovely comfortable bed, staff lovely, especially the older lady who dealt with us at breakfast,
Disliked: Ideal location, lovely staff,hotel in need of a little tlc, room not made up in the time we were there, when we queried why, we were told cleaner couldn't get in, as only one key to the room! Sat/Sun breakfast was ok, Mon was over cooked and service slow, a pity as we were the only two having breakfast.

A relaxing couple of days...

Liked: The setting for Woodlands Lodge Hotel is just beautiful. Quiet and with gate access direct into the forest, it was perfect. The hotel had a very relaxed vibe and the staff were excellent. We didn't expect things like biscuits to be replaced and the room to be made up, as we were only there for 2 nights. So this was a really pleasant surprise.We had lunch in the garden when we arrived (which was excellent) and we had dinner the first evening too - again, this was delicious. We didn't have breakfast as we were out and about walking, but the menu looked really good.
Disliked: The room was really nice and overlooked the gardens, however we were aware of noise from other rooms, as well as the music playing from the speakers into the garden. I guess if you were in the bar/lounge area (which we were and it wasn't as though it was overly loud, however noise travels and, with the window open, you could hear the music quite loudly. What sounded like a washing machine on our second night (possibly a shower but it went on for ages!), as well as constant coughing from another room ... but you can't pick your neighbours in a hotel can you!
